My name is Kiell and I like to go places. I like swimming in lakes, riding my bike, making art. I’m a UX Designer in my real life these days.
At its heart, this is a travel blog. Go way back in the archives and you can read about working in Antartica and traveling around the world in the post-ice season.

I have questions about working in Antarctica. Can I get your email? Mine is spork08@gmail.com
Yep! I sent you an email!
hey 🙂 beautiful blog! I am attempting to get back onto the ice and wasn’t sure who was in charge besides Lockheed??? 🙂 Would enjoy a nice cup of Antarctica again 🙂 thanks a lot!!! chanteltorres@hotmail.com

Hi Kiell.
Your work is an inspiration. Literally. Check out my interior design post that includes your work here: http://www.ktharpdesign.com/1/post/2014/02/before-after-library-palette-from-the-land-of-fire-and-ice.html
Thanks for letting me know and including my photo! Your blog is really beautiful!
You are most welcome! Thanks for the compliment back too.
Cheers.

What kind of boots did you wear in antarctica? I used to wear Sorels on the arctic north slope working seismic. I wasn’t crazy about bunny boots. Nice blog!
Hey John! The issue boots they give us are called Bunny Boots, which are armed forces extreme cold weather boots from the Korean War era. I wear Steger Mukluks most of the time though!
Hi Keill — I hope you keep entries coming… are you wintering over, or coming back north?
Thanks for reading! I’m heading North slowly…
